Parking: several car parks in the center of San Vito di Cadore.
Total Time: San Vito – Cas. Pian of MADIER 2 h., Cas. Pian di MADIER – Ref Venice 1 1/2 h.
Physical effort: too long and tiring trip, but not difficult, mostly on well-marked trails and carriage roads.
Difference in altitude: 1150 meters uphill and downhill.

1) From VODO:

Along the carriageway until Casera Ciauta (d. 1552), then follow the path no. 475 to Ref Venice. Hours 1:30 to 2:00.
Along the carriageway to Rif Talamini then towards Zoppè through the fork Ciandolada up to Rifugio Venezia (m.1578) along the trail first 493, then 471 to Rifugio Venezia. Hours 1:30 to 2:00.

2) From BORCA:

SS51 by passing the village of Villanova, continue along the road, partially paved to the signs in town Tiera, then along trail 470 to Rifugio Venezia. Hours 2:30 to 3:00.
A Villanova near the white church, go to an intersection where there is a fountain, then along path no. 475 Casera Ciuta – Ref Venice. 3.30 hours.

3) From SAN VITO:

The resort Serdes follow the signs for the road from Venice Ref Borca. 3.30 hours.

4) From ZOPPE ‘:

Sagui the resort along the path no. 471. At 1.30.

5) from Palafavèra:

for path 474 to the intersection with the 472 then eastwards to the Rifugio Venezia. 2:00 am. (Comfortable)

6) From Staulanza:

Along the path 472 towards the SE to Rifigio Venice. Hours 2:30 to 3:00.
From the Parish Church of St. Vitus, on the main road in a southerly direction to the Hotel Pelmo. On the road, right, falls Bòite, and in which you go to the left, then continue with a sharp right turn at the mountain village SERDES, 1000 m. In Direct. West to a chapel, then left on a road that goes through the woods, dir. South to a branch. A straight on a track n. 470, then to sinstra over the Orsolina, up to a forest road. On this, for a short distance to the right, then turn left on a path, climb to a cave with a Madonna. On the path to decay, to the turning of most forest roads. On this marked n. 470, which rises obliquely to the left, then on the right side of the Val Fedaroia to Cas. Pian de MADIER, 1458 m. Continue to a branch. Right on the cart track n. 470, which climbs steeply, then left to return to the Val Fedàrola. Go up and going to the right, you reach the Rif.Venezia, 1953 m.
